My dogs are not able to be off leash. Can I still do a photoshoot?

Dogs can’t be off leash, no problem at all! Over here at Fawn and Tux we have some fancy editing skills and can make those pesky leashes disappear. Check out our before and after of our fantastic models with their leashes attached and POOF! it’s gone.

Can I be in the photo with my dog?

Of course! You are absolutely welcome to be in photos with your dog. Some things to keep in kind if you wish to share the spotlight with your pooch: dress in neutral colours, avoid patterns, stripes and bold colours. Wear nice shoes in case we take pictures of your feet.

What time do photoshoots take place?

Photoshoots take place in the early hours of sunrise or the last couple hours of sunset. Depending on the season this can be earlier or later in the day.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Brampton, Ontario. We've scouted 3 beautiful locations to capture your dog's essence which do not incur additional travel costs. You can choose from the Garden, Waterfront or Farm locations. For locations outside of these, an additional travel fee may be required.

Can I bring my dog's costumes?

Who doesn’t love a game of dress-up! Costume changes are welcome and this will add variety to your final images.

My dog seems too energetic and rambunctious for a photo shoot.

Not to worry, we will try our best to contain all that excitement, but the rambunctious ones are the ones who end up with the best images full of life and character. I’m also a Professional Dog Trainer and experienced and knowledgeable in getting dogs to cooperate using positive techniques.

What if the weather is bad?

Typically we book two days for your shoot. The first date is the one we will plan to shoot, should the weather be less than ideal, the second date is a backup. For example, it could be raining all day on the first date given, but since our sessions take place in the evening closer to sunset we don’t usually make a call to cancel until closer to that time. If the weather clears up, we go ahead and meet as intended. If the inclement weather continues, we will plan to shoot on the second day.

How many people can I bring with me?

To lessen distractions, we ask that only you and the dog and those who wish to be photographed with your dog come to your session. Please try to avoid bringing numerous people as this will cause distractions and limit our time trying to get your dog to focus. Ideally two people are perfect, one person to hold the dog and act as its handler so that you can scoot around the photographer and get the dog’s attention. Not to worry if it’s only you and your dog who be joining us, we have an assistant too!

When do I receive my artwork?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). All orders are to be paid in full at time of ordering. Your order will take approximately 4-6 weeks to process and will be delivered to your home.

Why can’t I have the digital files and print them elsewhere?

We have carefully sourced and work very closely with our preferred labs to bring you the best pieces of artwork that will last a lifetime. All products offered are created in a professional lab of the highest standards. It’s important to know your investment is going to last the distance.
